CEAV names Macau ‘Preferred Destination’ for 2027
The Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) has named Macau its “Preferred Destination” for 2027. At the same time, the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) reported that European source markets grew by more than 30% in the first eight months of this year, and that Spanish visitor arrivals rose nearly 20%. MGTO pledged to continue working with the association to attract more visitors to Macau, including multi-stop itineraries across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. It also said it will participate in next year’s FITUR international tourism fair in Spain to strengthen promotion and position Macau as a long-haul destination for Spanish travelers.
