The donations will be distributed to 97 students, selected for their academic performance and financial status during the previous academic year.

Prada to Zegna Lure New Shopaholics Down Africa's Diamond Walkzegna to cut expenditure

Luxury fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna has announced plans to reduce capital expenditure (CapEx) in 2016 amid a global decline in physical customer traffic at the company’s stores.
Chief Executive Officer, Gildo Zegna said that they had spent a lot of CapEx in the previous year and that “if we [the company] reduce CapEx for one year it would be fine.” The CEO has not yet decided on the size of the reduction, merely that he will be more “careful” next year.
Zegna believes that the drop in customer traffic was created by confusion over the devaluation of China’s Yuan and the stock exchange rout, however he affirmed that he is not expecting a decline in 2015 sales.
The company currently has three outlets in Macau – located in the Wynn Macau, Venetian Macao, and in the New Yaohan department store, respectively.

Pink-Ladyhard rock “turns pink”

The Hard Rock Hotel at City of Dreams has “turned pink” for the entire month of October to support the annual “Pinktober” campaign for International Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The campaign will raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research through a charity sale of Pinktober merchandise and other handcrafted goods made by Hard Rock staff themselves.
This year, Hard Rock Hotel is teaming up with the Kwang Wai Charity Association (KWCA) to host a Pinktober Afternoon Tea Charity Event at R Bar on October 9. The hotel will donate a quarter of the campaign’s proceeds to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. KWCA will match the same percentage of funds raised from the Afternoon Tea Charity Event and Pinktober charity sale.
