‘Dance Drama: Dragon Boat’ showcases cultural heritage ahead of National Games

To celebrate the opening of the 15th National Games, the “Dance Drama: Dragon Boat” premiered at The Venetian Theatre late last week. Created by Guangzhou Song and Dance Theatre, this large-scale production marks its international debut and highlights the cultural significance of dragon boat racing.
Supported by multiple government and cultural bodies from Guangdong and Macao, the show combines traditional themes like “mortise-anårower training with Ωmultimedia effects.
The performance showcases the blending of cultural heritage with contemporary arts, emphasizing the spirit of unity within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
