The photo exhibition “East Asia Through The Lens” officially opened yesterday at Amagao Gallery, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, showcasing 25 works by five photographers from across East Asia.
The exhibition highlights the region’s cultural richness, presenting diverse perspectives from Macau, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Bhutan.
Featuring series such as “When Darkness Falls” by André Carvalhosa and “The Wisdom of Being” by Cássia Shutt, the exhibition explores themes of culture, identity, and place. Photographs capture Macau’s historic architecture and nocturnal landscapes, Hong Kong’s urban serenity, Bhutanese community life, and South Korea’s reinterpretation of tradition through hanbok.
Organized by ArtBiz Asia in collaboration with Halftone – Macau Photographic Association, the exhibition aims to foster cultural exchange and connect art, tourism, and community life.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, ArtBiz Asia, Halftone, and Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau.
