FAI Announces 5th World Cup of Indoor Skydiving 2024 in GoAirborne Macau
The 5th FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving 2024 will be held in GoAirborne Macau, a first for Asia, FAI announced.
The ambassador of GoAirborne Macau Kyra Poh and Toms Ivans won the gold and bronze medals, respectively, in the Solo Freestyle event at the 4th FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championships 2023 (WISC) held from April 19 to 22 in Slovakia,
“I look forward to seeing every flyer in the world in Macau next year,” the ambassador and chief instructor of GoAirborne Macau Toms Ivans said in a statement.
Skydiving has been growing in popularity in recent years, from a leisure activity to a globally recognized sport, gathering more than 250 athletes from all around the world for its fourth competition.
Following this success, the organization committee for the 2024 Paris Olympics proposed Indoor Skydiving as an event.
