In support of the Macau SAR Government’s 2025 Responsible Gaming (RG) goals, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) recently launched the Responsible Gaming Youth Series, a six-month initiative to nurture future industry leaders. Nearly 90 participants from 16 departments took part, gaining hands-on experience in RG practices, financial literacy and community engagement.
The program began with foundational training in RG principles, gambling disorder awareness, and support resources. Interactive sessions like Sensory Experience and Financial Planning helped debunk gaming myths and build financial literacy. Moreover, through the RG Board Game, participants explored real-life scenarios, fostering empathy and understanding of the impact of gambling disorder on individuals and families.
Furthermore, participants also promoted the RG Information Kiosk (Community Version) and led an outreach in Seac Pai Van, engaging seniors, youth, and tourists in responsible gaming education.
As Macau’s first integrated tourism and leisure enterprise with a dedicated RG Team, GEG continues to promote the core value of “Play Responsibly” through staff training and community engagement, contributing to a healthy, sustainable community aligned with the vision of a “Happy Macau”.
