Grand Lapa marks International Yoga Day with over 280 participants

Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau celebrated its 12th annual International Yoga Day on June 21, welcoming more than 280 participants to the resort’s Outdoor Lawn for a morning of mindfulness under the global theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”
The event, organized in partnership with local yoga associations, formed part of Artyzen Studio aimed at bringing communities together through cultural and wellness experiences. Participants reconnected body, mind, and spirit through mindful movement and breathwork amid the resort’s greenery.
Rutger Verschuren, area vice president of Artyzen Hospitality Group and general manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, said the initiative has been one of the group’s most meaningful community wellness programs for eight consecutive years, noting that wellbeing matters at every stage of life.
Observed annually on June 21 since its establishment by the United Nations in 2014, International Yoga Day promotes health, harmony, and peace.
