Melco Resorts & Entertainment continued its community engagement this Mid-Autumn Festival through its “Simple Acts of Kindness” initiative.

Over 100 volunteers, including employees and their families, dedicated 105 hours to support 340 community members, including elderly residents, children, youth, and healthcare patients.

Activities included visits to Kiang Wu Hospital Hospice, where volunteers performed songs, created balloon art, and delivered fruits and handcrafted lanterns.

At Pou Tai Integrated Service Center for the Elderly, volunteers presented festive hampers and mooncakes to about 70 seniors and served healthy dim sum tea sets, while children showcased martial arts and piano performances.

On October 6, volunteers spent the afternoon at Asilo Vila Madalena in Coloane, sharing tea, gifts, and interactive games with around 80 elderly residents.

In a statement, Melco said it also held a lantern-making workshop for over 30 special needs students from Concordia School for Special Education, spreading festive cheer across Macau.
