The School of Business at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) has earned an international accreditation, signaling its position in the world’s top 6% of business schools.
The accreditation was conferred upon the business school by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
“AACSB accreditation recognizes institutions that have demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curriculum development and student learning,” said Stephanie M. Bryant, Executive Vice-President and Chief Accreditation Officer of AACSB.
The chair of the Peer Review Team of the AACSB concluded that “the School of Business presented evidence of continuous improvement and high quality in its academic programs, activities, teaching, research and assurance of student learning. The school successfully met or exceeded the requirements for the Accreditation Standards.”
“MUST is honored to receive the prestigious AACSB accreditation for our School of Business. This honor is a recognition that the MUST School of Business provides high-quality business education and impactful research that has a positive societal impact,” said President Joseph Hun-wei Lee.
Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools, and the largest business education network connecting learners, educators and businesses worldwide. Less than 6% of the world’s schools offering business degree programs hold AACSB business accreditation. AL
