61 Macau-funded enterprises in TCM in Hengqin

Hengqin’s four major industries have experienced strong development since the establishment of the Cooperation Zone, according to a recent announcement made by the Executive Committee. Focusing on the strategic position outlined in the Hengqin Plan, the zone has developed the four major industries: sci-tech research and high-end manufacturing; traditional Chinese medicine (TCM); cultural tourism, convention and exhibition; and modern finance. In terms of the TCM industry, the Cooperation Zone actively explored innovative models such as “Macau Registration + Hengqin Production.” So far, 61 Macau-funded enterprises have been established in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Cooperation between Guangdong and Macau.
