Alan walker concert at outdoor venue in June; catering plans now open

In preparation for the highly anticipated “Alan Walker 2025 Live in Macau” concert at the Macau Outdoor Performance Area on June 15, 2025, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has announced a public call for catering proposals from Macau’s local food industry to provide light meal services during the event.
The IC’s “Macau Outdoor Performance Area Concert Catering Plan” invites catering companies to submit their operation plans by 5:30 p.m. on May 30.
Registration is free, and applicants must be engaged in Macau’s catering industry.
“The goal is to select six suitable catering units that can offer a diverse, reasonably priced light meal menu that complements the outdoor performance atmosphere,” said the IC. Each selected vendor will operate on a self-financed basis and is responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses in accordance with Macau law.
Proposals will be evaluated based on feasibility, completeness, menu diversity, pricing, aesthetic and practical layout, and the experience of the catering team.
This concert marks the first major international event at the Macau Outdoor Performance Area, a sprawling 94,000-square-meter venue designed specifically for large-scale performing arts events.
Equipped with essential facilities, the venue is currently in a trial operation phase, preparing to host a variety of programs in the future.
Earlier this year, the IC announced plans to host a series of performances with gradually increasing audience capacities, aiming to reach 25,000 to 30,000 spectators per show by the third quarter of 2025.
The Large-Scale Performance Event Coordination Group, composed of cross-departmental members of the SAR government, prioritizes safety and is working closely with the performing arts industry to manage audience growth responsibly.
Several other events are currently under negotiation for the venue between July and October.
