Melco recently supported the 27th Quadripartite Conference on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) co-organized by the Labour Affairs Bureau and the Macau Construction Safety Association and held at Studio City, Macau, between October 15 to 17.
The three-day event was attended by more than 400 representatives, including government officials from the region, experts, researchers, management professionals and practitioners in the field of OSH, with the aim of promoting regional exchange, interaction and cooperation.
Akiko Takahashi, executive vice president and chief of staff to chairman and CEO of Melco said, “Since the establishment of Melco’s OSH policy in 2008, ensuring the safety of our employees, guests and contractors has been our top priority.”
In addition to the program of seminars and structured discussions, conference attendees were invited to exclusively tour Studio City in small groups, visiting OSH facilities available at the integrated resort’s front operations and employee-only “Heart-of-House” areas.
