‘GEG Lusofonia X Golf Family Fun Day’ highlights community engagement through culture and golf

During the “2025 GEG Lusofonia Festival”, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) hosted the “GEG Lusofonia X Golf Family Fun Day”, inviting 10 families from Associação Promotora da Instrução dos Macaenses to enjoy a joyful afternoon blending Lusophone culture with golf activities, further extending the festival’s reach to the local community.

Participants gathered at the Diamond Lobby of Galaxy Macau to enjoy a traditional dance performance from Mozambique, and also visited the “2025 GEG Lusofonia Festival” at the Taipa Houses, where families engaged in Portuguese traditional games and explored cultural booths.

As part of the day’s diverse activities, the event was held in conjunction with “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents: PGA Tour Dreams, Macau”, a youth golf empowerment program that is title-sponsored by GEG and co-organized with the Macau Professional Golfers Association (MPGA).

Certified instructors from the MPGA introduced children to basic golf techniques, while Mr. Andy Tang, Galaxy Macau Golf Ambassador and Macau golf athlete at National Games 2025, also joined the event to inspire young participants through a fun mini putting competition, encouraging the next generation to embrace the sport.
