Gov’t to launch film-themed website to promote local culture
The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) announced that a “Macau Film and TV Thematic Website” will launch in 2026, showcasing popular filming locations and culturally distinctive community sites. The initiative aims to encourage the industry to use the city’s cultural elements to tell local stories and attract productions to different neighborhoods. The Macao Government Tourism Office added that the Cultural Development Fund supports cultural-tourism projects, helping local creative enterprises develop diverse products based on Macau’s heritage or original IP.
