iRad medical centre jobs posted, signalling possible Studio City opening

Hong Kong-based iRad Medical appears set to launch a new medical diagnostic center at Studio City, as local job advertisements suggest active recruitment for roles in aesthetic medicine, general medicine, radiography, pharmacology, and operations.

The listings were published on local job platforms.

Melco first revealed plans for an “iRad Polyclinic” at Studio City during a December 2022 media briefing organized by the local government.

The announcement was part of a broader outline by all six gaming concessionaires detailing their investment strategies following Macau’s renewal of 10-year casino concessions in January 2023.

At that time, Melco said it expected to open the iRad Polyclinic in 2024 as “the first and largest private imaging and medical check-up polyclinic in Macau, located in an integrated resort” and said it would be “a comprehensive wellness body check-up destination with full-fledged medical offerings.”

Earlier this week, a source within the gaming operator told the Times that there are no updates yet on the iRad Medical Center’s details.

Last year, Wynn Macau opened its EliteKinesio Medical Center at Wynn Palace in Cotai, describing it as “the first medical center to provide physical therapy treatments at a spa in Macau.” Since then, The Spa at Wynn Palace has expanded its wellness offerings to include float therapy, red light therapy, vibration and sound therapy, as well as cryotherapy.

More recently, the Blanc De Vie Medical Center, touted as “the first and only Korean medical center located within a resort hotel in Macau,” also opened at Wynn Palace.
