The Macau Artist Society opened its 2025 members exhibition at The Parisian Macao Monday, showcasing 180 works across a wide range of media and styles.
The exhibition features watercolour, oil painting, sculpture, ink painting, calligraphy, installation art, printmaking, and mixed media, reflecting the creativity and aesthetic diversity of the city’s artistic community.
According to Lok Hei, president of the Macau Artist Society, this artistic feast coincides with the celebratory time of Macau being honored as Culture City of East Asia 2025 and the 20th anniversary of the inscription of The Historic Centre of Macao on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
As cited in a statement, the society president said the exhibition comprehensively showcases the creative energy and aesthetic pursuits of Macau’s artists, covering themes from traditional arts to contemporary visual languages, “fully reflecting the city’s unique cultural fusion of East and West.”
The exhibition is the first to be held at The Parisian Macao with exhibition spaces that “create an extraordinary atmosphere for displaying the artworks, where the exquisite works and The Parisian’s elegant splendor complement each other perfectly, radiating new brilliance.”
The exhibition is open to the public until March 27, 2026 at Shops 3303, 3305a, 3305b, 3305c, 3306, and 3320 on Level 3 of The Parisian Macao. LV
