Macau was named “Best Asian Meeting Destination” at the M&C Asia Stella Awards ceremony held in Bangkok, Thailand, earlier this week.
This marks the third consecutive year that Macau has received this honor.
The organizers stated that Macau boasts Asia’s leading M&C hardware and software infrastructure, as well as regional advantages, making it a competitive and ideal M&C destination.
Representatives of the China Merchants Investment Promotion Bureau accepted the award and organized a meeting with the Macau and Guinness MICE industry at the M&C Asia Connections 2025, a tailored event for the region.
China Merchants Group, through exchanges with Thai companies that helped promote Macau’s exhibition and business advantages, together with 10 Macau and Qinhuangdao institutions and enterprises, held more than 220 business negotiations with international exhibition buyers.
Industry insiders stated that the event brought together buyers and suppliers from the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the United States, allowing them to reach target customers through customized matchmaking.
They expressed their hope to collaborate with Cooperation Zone companies to expand into European, American, and Middle Eastern markets, enhancing the vision and international service capabilities of local companies. Times reporter
