A big outsider in a race this Saturday caught my eyes in the race card. Qian Gua from K.H. Leong’s yard come back to his winnable grade and in a Class 3 & 4 race. He is a force to reckon with especially he’s now dropping back to Class 3 & 4 ; when he won his races last season he was in the rating of 80+, now he is at 60, clearly he got edge back to his winning marks. You can forget all his 13 defeats previously, just look at his 1800 turf and sand wins last season – how impressive those wins were , and because of his last season’s glory he step into a height of 84 and his defeats were all expected . With this 1800 turf race come up on Saturday, which is his pet distance and with a gift draw in barrier two, he should take plenty of beating. Qian Gua will pay handsomely in his odds be it a good place bet or a win . He is my best bet this Saturday.
