Macau to host one-day Korean film festival

CGV Cinemas at Nova Mall and Hong Kong’s Korean Cultural Center are presenting the 2025 Macao Korean Film Festival for one day only on July 26. The festival features four Korean films, starting with the historical drama Harbin (2024) at 1:30 p.m., about Korean independence activists in 1908. At 4:10 p.m., audiences can watch My Dearest Fu Bao (2024), a documentary about South Korea’s first panda, followed by the disaster thriller Project Silence (2023). The festival closes with the 2015 thriller Assassination at 7 p.m., focusing on Korean resistance fighters during Japanese occupation.
