Shenzhen – New Reform Trial Targets AI and Low-Altitude Economy

China’s central government approved a new wave of pilot reforms for Shenzhen, focusing on artificial intelligence, low-altitude aviation economy, scientific talent, and cross-border cooperation. Mayor Qin Weizhong said the city would leverage its position to lead national innovation in these sectors, aiming to build a hub for AI trials and low-flying aircraft industries. Reforms also support deeper economic integration with Hong Kong and Macao.
