Studio City launches Disney-themed summer water park experience

Studio City Macau is rolling out a seasonal expansion of its “Disney Palette of Happiness” campaign, introducing a new water park experience designed to run from June 19 to November 1, as the resort positions itself for a peak summer tourism period.
Branded as “Disney Palette of Happiness – Splashing Fun at Water Park,” the initiative transforms Studio City Water Park into a “Disney Space Water World,” combining character-driven installations, themed attractions, and interactive photo zones across indoor and outdoor areas.
The project builds on the earlier April debut of Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, extending the narrative across the integrated resort’s leisure zones.
Four space-themed installations anchor the experience. At the hotel guest entrance, Mickey Mouse appears in astronaut attire at a themed beverage station, offering visitors a welcome point featuring branded drinks and character-themed popsicles inspired by Disney favorites.
At the outdoor entrance, large-scale installations of Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg recreate an intergalactic showdown, while nearby beach and river areas feature interactive water play elements, including floating installations and color-themed zones featuring Stitch and the Aliens.
Inside the Martian Waves area, Donald Duck appears as a space pilot in a rocket-themed installation designed as a photo opportunity for families and visitors.
The resort has also introduced limited-edition merchandise, including a Disney-themed beach towel redeemable at MOP168 with same-day water park tickets, or MOP128 for members. Redemption is available at three on-site locations daily from 11:00 to 20:00, while stocks last.
Studio City said the experience is designed to integrate entertainment, accommodation and dining into a single resort journey, targeting families, Disney fans and leisure travelers seeking short-stay summer experiences.
The company said the campaign reflects its broader strategy to strengthen Macau’s positioning as a diversified leisure and tourism destination beyond gaming.
