‘Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2024 Macao Presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group’ Successfully Concluded

Galaxy Arena was filled with endless cheers and applause of passionate fans in support of their beloved volleyball teams.

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), as a long-standing and prominent supporter of the city’s sports development, welcomed the successful conclusion of another international large-scale sports event at its Galaxy Arena recently. Jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, GEG and the Volleyball Association of Macao, China, the six-day “Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2024 Macao Presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group” was held between May 28 and June 2. Featuring eight elite international volleyball teams including China, Brazil, Italy, Dominican Republic, Japan, Netherlands, Thailand and France, the tournament at the city’s newest and largest indoor arena aroused a volleyball craze across Macau. Prior to the tournament, the organizers co-hosted an array of diverse extended activities to extend the volleyball enthusiasm to residents and international tourists whilst deepening sports exchanges in the community.

Different national teams competed to their best performances, showcasing the vitality and excitement of the volleyball sport, as well as the tenacity and unity of the players.

Through the event organizers, Volleyball World donated official game balls to Macau’s different communities in support of the promotion of the sports development.

Brazil’s volleyball players attended an autograph session at the East Square of Galaxy Macau to interact with fans.

Event organizers invited China Women’s National Volleyball Team to take photos at the East Square of Galaxy Macau.

GEG invited former captain of China’s Women National Volleyball Team to share insights with Macau athletes and sports representatives.

Audiences cheered for their favorite volleyball players, igniting a fervent ambience inside the Galaxy Arena, which was highly-praised for its top-notch amenities and innovative design.

Members of the China’s volleyball team received tremendous support from large group of volleyball fans holding cheering banners, signs and national flags.

Local SMEs expressed gratitude to GEG for supporting them to set up booths on site, to showcase their Macau-made products, which have been well received, on the international sports event platform.
