Beach swimming season begins with lifeguards on duty

Macau’s swimming season will begin tomorrow, with lifeguards and paramedics deployed at Hac Sa and Cheoc Van beaches, the Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) said. The season will run through October 31, with staff on duty daily and extended hours on weekends and holidays. Safety buoys have been installed, and authorities urged the public to follow warning flags and safety guidelines. Meanwhile, four public outdoor swimming pools will also open for the season under the Sports Bureau.
