The Art For All (AFA) Society is set to present an exhibition ““Interposition – Works by Lai Sut Weng” in the Art Garden on October 14. Lai Sut Weng, the winner of the “Orient Foundation Art Award” in 2014, will have her first Macau solo exhibition featuring a total of nine oil paintings from her most recent artworks. According to the association’s statement, Lai has been painting with a cubic brush stroke which is a method which degenerates and slices scenes. This irrational division shuffles and restructures the scene which has become a unique feature of her works. ‘The opening of “Interposition – Works by Lai Sut Weng” will take place in AFA Macau at 6:30p.m. next Friday. The exhibition is partly sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and will be opened to public until November 6.
