Known as the “Asia Girl Group,” S.H.E reunited for the very first time since 2014 to perform on stage in Macau, and kicked off their first overseas show with a selection of greatest hits from across their 15-year career.
SCEC’s stage has welcomed numerous global and regional musical icons including global superstar and one of the biggest selling female artists of all time Mariah Carey, “Queen of Pop” Madonna, Asia’s King of Dance Aaron Kwok and KPOP sensation SISTAR.
The SCEC infrastructure is designed to host live concerts, theatrical and top sports events, as well as award shows and other special gatherings.

CEM-IMG_6174-copycem to participate in miecf 2016, ‘smart grid’

Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM) has set up an exhibition booth at Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (more on page 2, 3) to share its efforts in environmental protection with the aim of inspiring businesses to contribute to the environment through the normal course of business operations.
According to a press release, CEM’s exhibition booth centers on “Smart Grid,” which is an electricity network that integrates digital and other advanced technologies, such as sensors, communications and computing, to monitor and manage the transport of electricity from all generation sources.
Smart Grid is said to improve the security and efficiency of the energy supply chain as well as integrating renewable energies such as photovoltaic power generation and electric vehicles (EV) into the existing power grid, opening up new opportunities for power demand management.
CEM’s exhibition booth also has on display the EV charging station currently set up at public car parks, a Smart Home demonstration as well as photovoltaic and wind power generation models.

With panoramic views over Cotai, and multi award-winning European fare and a prestigious wine cellar, Belon is now catering for intimate wedding receptions seating up to 80 people, 120 for cocktail parties, in its private dining enclave.
The restaurant’s interior design, complete with grand floor-to-ceiling windows capitalizing on its sky-high location, is a venue that ticks all the boxes for a truly memorable wedding celebration, stated a press release.
The exclusive dining room is served by a team of dedicated professionals and presents personalized menus by Banyan Tree Macau’s executive chef, Robby Setiawan, with the added option of floral decorations and a live piano or string quartet – as well as a wedding planner and service team ensuring every detail of the special day is perfectly executed.
