Excitement is building for the 2025 MGM Macau Tennis Masters, where a powerhouse mix of rising global stars and tennis deliver a festive year-end edition of the tournament. Over two days, fans will come together to ‘Play. Celebrate. Repeat.’ with elite tennis, immersive fan experiences and holiday-season energy at the Macao Forum.

Tournament organisers today confirmed that one of the most dynamic players on the ATP Tour will join the 2025 line-up: World No. 14 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. Known for his athletic, high-intensity game, the Spaniard brings further depth and flair to an already standout field. His appearance in Macau follows a strong 2025 season featuring multiple finals, Top-10 wins, and a rise into the Top 15.

He joins rising international talents Jack Draper, Mirra Andreeva, Alexandra Eala, Jerry Shang, and Jakub Menšík, alongside tennis legends Li Na and Conchita Martínez as team captains, completing a field that blends established names, emerging talent and competitive match-ups.

“The MGM Macau Tennis Masters grows every year, and this will be our most spectacular edition yet,” said Luiz Carvalho, Tournament Director and MARI Group Senior Vice President of Tennis Events. “Fans can expect world-class tennis, thrilling rallies, and unforgettable moments from six incredible athletes, headlined by legends Li Na and Conchita Martínez.”

“After welcoming Jack Draper, Mirra Andreeva, Jerry Shang, Jakub Menšík, and Alexandra Eala, we’re delighted to complete this year’s exceptional line-up with Alejandro Davidovich Fokina,” Carvalho added. “We’re also proud to have Wu Yibing — fresh from winning gold at China’s National Games — joining us as our alternate player.”

Play on both days will begin at 2pm with the Captains Challenge, followed by three matches scheduled daily. Day one will feature two men’s singles matches and a mixed doubles, while day two includes a women’s singles and two men’s singles before the awards ceremony.

The two teams are:

TEAM LI NA — Jack Draper, Jerry Shang, Alexandra Eala

TEAM CONCHITA MARTÍNEZ — Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Jakub Menšík, Mirra Andreeva

The full event schedule is as follows:

Awards Ceremony

Building on its reputation as Macau’s signature year-end tennis showcase, the MGM Macau Tennis Masters will again present thrilling on-court action complemented by interactive fan activities, autograph sessions and lucky draws — reflecting the event’s festive theme of ‘Play. Celebrate. Repeat.’

A special emphasis will be placed on gender diversity and women’s leadership in sport, highlighted by a curated conversation titled “Four Voices, One Court”, taking place on December 27 at 11:00 AM at The Fantasy Box, MGM MACAU. This exclusive event brings together tennis legends Li Na and Conchita Martínez, alongside rising stars Mirra Andreeva and Alexandra Eala, for an intergenerational dialogue hosted by Hong Kong Olympian Robyn Lamsam.

Centered on the theme “Professional Passion and Life Beyond the Court”, the discussion offers a rare platform for these four athletes to share untold personal stories, reflect on the evolution of tennis, and explore women’s influence in sports. Designed to inspire young female players and fans alike, the session provides a unique opportunity to step beyond match play and discover the resilience, humanity, and inner world behind these remarkable competitors. Seats are available for public registration; welcome to visit MGM’s official website for details.

In other fan engagement activities, ticket holders will have the chance to step directly on court — from joining the Captains Challenge, to taking part in the pre-match coin toss, or even sitting in on selected press conferences.

Tickets for the two-day tournament are available through MGM.mo, KongSeng Ticketing, Damai, Maoyan, UUTIX, and CTrip. Daily tickets are priced from MOP230 to MOP580 for VIP seats. Two-day passes start from MOP360 up to MOP1,000 for VIP seating.

Co-organised by MGM and the new global events and experiences company MARI, the 2025 MGM Macau Tennis Masters is honoured to have the support of the Sports Bureau of Macao SAR Government, Macao Government Tourism Office, and the Macau Tennis Association, together with our distinguished partners, including the official outfitter FILA, official airline EVA AIR and the official water Bonaqua.
