Galaxy debuts over 300 artworks by French artist Bruno Moinard

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) launched the exhibition “In the Mind of Bruno Moinard – A Special Exhibition at Art Macao 2025” at Galaxy Macau and will be on display until December 31.
As part of Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2025, this exhibition features over 300 artworks by renowned French artist Bruno Moinard, including sketches inspired by his travels, interpretations of interior designs, oil paintings, and a section that replicates his home studio, showcasing large canvases and similar furniture.
Additionally, this exhibition marks the 30th anniversary of Moinard’s career and 12 years of his design brand, Bruno Moinard Éditions.
His inspirations primarily stem from his personal life, nature, his perceptions of his surroundings, and his experiences in France.
Visitors to the exhibition will also encounter photographs, informative videos, and design manuscripts displayed throughout the venue.
“As I work in painting, architecture, and furniture, all of these can combine to provide extra inspiration. The collaboration between them means that some of the paintings here showcase unfinished projects or ideas for future projects,” he told the press.
In a section dedicated to showcasing his sketches that document his travels, the aim is to evoke a sense of journey for the viewers. Additionally, Moinard works with a team of 50 people on furniture design and 10 on interior design.
“I would say I’m more like the person providing ideas, giving direction and creation to others; my team brings the project to life,” he added.
Moinard has collaborated with GEG to design the upcoming Capella hotel, sharing pieces from his curated furniture collection that will be used in the hotel rooms.
The exhibition also highlights many unfinished and in-progress artworks displayed on a curved wall. Moinard explained, “It’s also to showcase to everyone that sometimes a small sketch can become something big as well.” Time reporter
