Gaming tax revenue rises 15% in Q1 to MOP25.8 billion

Financial Services Bureau (DSF) data shows gaming tax revenue reached MOP8.87 billion in March, up 2% month-on-month. For the first quarter, cumulative gaming tax revenue totaled MOP25.8 billion, a year- son-year increase of 15%, with an execution rate of 27.9%. Total public fiscal recurrent revenue for the quarter stood at MOP28.73 billion, of which gaming tax accounted for 89%. Total expenditure during the period was MOP15.41 billion. By the end of March, the public fiscal surplus reached MOP13.64 billion patacas, representing a year-on-year increase of nearly 44%.
