IAME Asia Finals to feature 250 racers from 26 countries

The IAME Asia Finals will take place at the Coloane Karting Track over four days, from Dec. 10 to 14.

The organizers have described the event as the largest karting event ever held in Macau, with 250 entries from 26 countries.

“We are truly humbled – and absolutely blown away – by the incredible response to the Macau International Kart Grand Prix with the IAME Asia Final 2025,” organizers noted in a press statement.

According to the same statement, “From 160 entries in 2024 to an incredible 250 entries this year, we are once again rewriting the record books, marking it as the largest-ever monobrand engine entry in Southeast Asia – a testament not just to the passion of the drivers and participants, but to the incredible partnership behind the scenes.”

The racing event promises to enliven the recently resurfaced karting track like never before, a preparatory effort undertaken by the local Automobile General Association Macao-China (AAMC), aiming to offer the perfect conditions for a great competition.

On the efforts of local co-organizers, IAME said, “We are inspired by the relentless hard work, perseverance, belief, and dedication of the team at the AAMC with their commitment to excellence. Their leadership in developing motorsport in Macau and their never-give-up spirit have transformed this event into a world-class showcase for Asia.”

The IAME Asia Finals are part of a larger event, the 2025 Macau International Grand Prix Karting Championship, spanning 10 days (starting Dec. 4), and also includes the 2025 ROK Cup Asia Final (Dec. 4 to 7).

The large-scale event, which receives support from local gaming concessionaire Sands China, will also serve as the stage for the final round of Macau’s local karting championships.
