The Londoner Arena at The Londoner® Macao was the center of attention as it hosted the grand finale of ‘Street Dance of China’ Season 6 on Jan. 20, Sands China Ltd announced.
This globally livestreamed event on Youku marked an electrifying start to the year for dance fans. The venue, a 6,000-seat arena, was filled to capacity, with audiences eagerly witnessing a battle among top dancers for the highest honor, according to a press release from the company.
The night was set ablaze with performances from three captains, Van Ness Wu, Jay Park, and TNT- Ding, and further enlivened by surprise appearances from past captains Han Geng, Wang Yibo, and Lay Zhang.
Dubbed the ‘Battle for Unity,’ the finale showcased ten finalists delivering “diverse and ingenious performances,” culminating in Swiss dancer Poppin’C clinching the title, followed by b-boy Neguin.
This marks the second time Sands China has hosted the season finale of this popular variety show, with the previous season 5 finale at The Venetian’s Cotai Arena in 2022. According to the press release, this event not only enriched Sands China’s entertainment offerings, but also played a significant role in developing Macau into a City of Performing Arts, underlining the commitment to diversify the cultural and tourism sectors.
