MGTO launches 10 food promotion events to boost culinary tourism

The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said it will hold 10 food promotion events in 2026 under the “Taste Macao” subsidy program, aiming to attract more than 790,000 participants and involve over 450 business engagements. The initiative encourages local groups to combine tourism, cuisine and creativity to promote Macau’s culinary offerings and strengthen its reputation as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. The office also said 93 food and beverage training courses were held in 2025, attracting 1,301 participants.
