MPU and PJ hold anti-fraud event to raise awareness among students

In partnership with the Judiciary Police (PJ), Macau Polytechnic University (MPU) recently hosted an anti-fraud education event for 3,000 of its students. The event addressed common fraud schemes such as online shopping scams, phone scams, phishing, and online dating fraud, using real cases and simulations to demonstrate scammers’ tactics to students. On campus, interactive booths and games engaged students with practical anti-fraud apps. The university’s Student Affairs Office stated that it aims to enhance students’ anti-fraud awareness and skills through diverse educational methods and to collaborate with campus police in building a strong safety network.
