Sands China Ltd. hosted the “Food Fest of Awarded SMEs for Rua das Estalagens” from April 22 to 28 at The Londoner Macao, marking the second edition of the event under its Community Revitalisation Series – Entrepreneurship Recruitment Programme.
The initiative brought awarded small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to the integrated resort’s back-of-house area, offering direct exposure to team members and supporting local brand promotion. Combined with last year’s edition, the food fest attracted about 11,000 team members.
Featured vendors included Café Fantart, Voyage Thai Kitchen, PANPAN, and Catfee Macau, serving signature items such as egg tarts, pandan cakes, baked buns, and specialty coffee. The event aimed to strengthen SME visibility and encourage staff engagement with local businesses.
The entrepreneurship programme, launched in April 2024, received 128 applications in its first phase and has supported seven successful business openings on Rua das Estalagens.
