Over 40 Sands China employees enjoyed a guided tour of the Macau government’s new exhibition at the Macau Forum on Monday – “The Broad Waves of a Great River: Exhibition on 70 Years of Folk History in China” – in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China.
The activity is part of Sands China’s ongoing effort to promote professionalism education, strengthen employee knowledge of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, and offer a wide variety of activities for employees.
“Professionalism education is one of the important ways Sands China can invest in our team members,” said Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd. “We hope this exhibition gives our team members the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the mainland.”
The exhibition explores the development of modern China from 1949 to 2019 from the perspective of folk history, examining the rise in prosperity of the Chinese people and the development of the nation. It features over 600 historical photos, more than 300 exhibits, a documentary, and multimedia 3D experiences.
