Sands Macao distributes boxed lunches to taxi drivers on 21st Anniversary

Sands Macao marked its 21st anniversary on Sunday by distributing complimentary boxed lunches to taxi drivers dropping off guests at the property.
This gesture continues a tradition started in 2004 as a token of appreciation for the drivers’ daily contributions to the city’s transportation network.
Danny Tang, vice president and general manager of Sands Macao, remarked, “On the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the opening of Sands Macao, we continue our long-standing tradition of delivering meal packs to local taxi drivers to express gratitude to those who travel through Macao’s streets and alleys every day and connect every corner of the city.”
The lunch included a variety of dishes such as soy sauce chicken with minced ginger, wok-fried shrimp and scallops, seasonal vegetables, and traditional Chinese birthday buns.
Tang reaffirmed Sands Macao’s intention to continue offering quality services and supporting the city’s sustainable development through hospitality and leisure.
