Student arriving from UK is the 56th case of Covid-19

A 21-year-old local resident who arrived in Macau from the U.K on Wednesday (July 21) tested positive in a nucleic acid test (NAT) upon arrival, and has since been classified as the 56th case of Covid-19 in Macau.
The woman, who was previously studying in the U.K., was vaccinated with her first dose of the Covid-19 Moderna mRNA vaccine on June 24. She declared that she has never tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
Before boarding the flight to Macau, she tested negative as part of a NAT in the U.K. on July 18, flying from the UK to Singapore on July 19.
According to the health authority’s notice, she departed the UK on the Singapore Airlines flight SQ319, traveling in seat number 42A, and made a stopover in Singapore before traveling to Macau.
She arrived to Macau via a Scoot airlines flight TR904 on July 21 in seat number 23F.
She has been sent for treatment in isolation at the Conde de São Januário Hospital Center. RM
