The St. Regis Bar returns to Asia’s 50 Best Bars list at No. 45

The St. Regis Bar at The St. Regis Macao has been ranked No. 45 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, returning to the regional ranking after previously placing No. 22 in the 2024 edition and being named the Best Bar in Macau that year.

The 2026 awards ceremony was held at Wynn Palace yesterday, marking the second consecutive year that Macau hosted the event.

The No. 1 spot on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 went to Guangzhou’s Hope & Sesame, which was also named the Best Bar in mainland China, becoming the first bar from the mainland to claim the top position in the regional ranking.

The bar ranked No. 7 in last year’s Asia’s 50 Best Bars ranking and was previously placed No. 29 on The World’s 50 Best Bars list.

South Korea’s Zest ranked No. 2, while Hong Kong’s Bar Leone, which topped the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list in 2025, ranked No. 3 this year.

Bangkok’s Dry Wave Cocktail Studio ranked No. 4, while MO Bar at the Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen took No. 5.

The Asia’s 50 Best Bars list is compiled based on votes from industry professionals, including bartenders, drinks writers, educators, and hospitality representatives across the region. The annual ranking recognizes bars for their beverage programs, service, creativity, and contributions to Asia’s cocktail culture. LV
