Corporate Bits | Taiwanese singer to celebrate his farewell tour at Cotai Arena in September

Taiwanese ballard singer and television host Fei Yu Ching will perform his “Suncity Group Presents: Fei Yu Ching 2019 Farewell Concert” at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena on September 21.

With a rich, soulful voice, Fei has enjoyed a glittering 45-year career. He is feted for his classic versions of songs such as “A Spray of Plum Blossoms” and “Good Night Song” as well as his sense of humor and ability to accurately imitate other singers.

In 2006 he raised his profile, especially with younger music fans, when he collaborated with Mando-pop king Jay Chou on the hit ballad “Faraway”.

But in 2018, Fei published a handwritten letter to his fans and media announcing his retirement from the entertainment industry along with news about his farewell concert tour. In his letter, he explained that making the decision was very difficult because of his many loyal fans, but he felt it was the right time for him to retire.

Tickets went on sale yesterday at all Cotai Ticketing box offices.
