Sip Around Asia returns to W Macau – Studio City with a star-studded bar takeover

As the global bartending community descends on Macau for Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, W Macau – Studio City is positioning itself as the epicenter of the city’s nocturnal energy. From July 26 to 27, the resort is bringing back its acclaimed Sip Around Asia event for a second year, transforming its signature venues, Blind Tiger and Living Room, into immersive hubs of cross-cultural mixology.

Curated by Victor Pun, Senior Mixologist at W Macau – Studio City, the two-night affair is designed to celebrate craftsmanship and connection. “We want to offer a home-away-from-home for the global bar community,” says Pun, who views these guest shifts as a testament to the shared language of hospitality.

The festivities kick off on July 26 at Blind Tiger in partnership with Rémy Martin. The evening features Thirawat Kailaihong (TK) and Pae Jetsadakorn from Bangkok’s celebrated ABar Rooftop. Bringing tropical warmth and rooftop flair, their menu showcases intricate flavors—from the botanical clarity of Three Lives to the smoky, Southeast Asian soul of Lalita. Joining them is Delphine Kong, Brand Representative for Rémy Cointreau in Hong Kong & Macau, who reimagines classics with a fragrant twist, such as her Rosemary Clover Club and the effervescent Yuzu 75.

On July 27, the spotlight shifts to Living Room in partnership with The Glenrothes. Here, Brandon Pan and Amis Huang—co-founders of Taipei’s boundary-pushing bar, Some Fun—will present a menu deeply rooted in Taiwanese terroir. Highlighting indigenous ingredients, their creations blend barista precision with bartending instinct. Expect creations like a reimagined Irish Coffee featuring Geisha coffee and mountain pepper cream, or the forest-floor complexity of Hunter Mist.

Blending the evenings’ audio-visual landscape, W Macau – Studio City’s Music Curator, DJ Delores, will spin deep into the night, ensuring the energy of the guest shifts pulses through both venues.
