SMEs’ loan subsidies extended till the end of the year

The Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) has announced that the application period for the “2025 SME Bank Loan Interest Subsidy Scheme,” launched in April last year, has been extended to December 31. The DSEDT also noted that it had expanded the scope of beneficiary enterprises to include more companies. To date, the scheme has received nearly 2,100 applications, with over 2,000 approved, totaling a bank loan of approximately MOP4.5 billion, DSEDT said, claiming that this helped SMEs’ liquidity.
