A woman who exited a moving taxi on the Amizade Bridge has been fined MOP 600 for violating Macau’s traffic laws. A viral video circulating on social media shows the tourist leaving the vehicle while it was still in motion. According to the taxi driver, she said she was feeling unwell and needed fresh air. She later managed to hail another taxi on the bridge to continue her journey to Macau International Airport. Traffic laws strictly prohibit passengers from entering or exiting moving vehicles. The taxi driver will not face penalties, as he reportedly took all necessary precautions.
