The 15th National Games 3×3 Basketball was held at Wynn Palace South Lawn
Wynn hosted a series of sports-related events over the past few months, particularly in November, to coincide with the 15th National Games and the 72nd Macau Grand Prix, with the aim of encouraging public participation and supporting local sports initiatives.
The activities included community engagement programs, cultural displays, and interactive installations designed to connect residents and visitors with the city’s ongoing sporting calendar.
Coinciding with the Macau Grand Prix, an impressive line-up of more than 20 of the world’s most coveted hypercars were on display with the “Wynn Signature – 2025 Hypercar Exhibition” at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace starting in late September.
The “2025 Macao Grand Prix Museum x Wynn Chocolate Supercar Exhibition” brought together internationally recognized pastry artist Bob Tay, known for his numerous food art awards, and trendsetting artist Vasarhelyi in a unique creative collaboration. The installations provided a creative opportunity for visitors to engage with motorsport culture.
In collaboration with Swiss designer Saiff Vasarhelyi, Wynn presented live painting sessions on a McLaren 600LT at Wynn Palace and an F3 race car, which was on display at Rua da Felicidade until Sunday.
Meanwhile, from November 8 to 16, Wynn and the Macau Chamber of Commerce jointly organized the “Vibrant Fulong · National Games Carnival,” which translates to “Vibrant Rua da Felicidade” along the street.
The nine-day program featured cultural and creative markets, sports-themed installations, and community performances, providing residents and visitors with opportunities to engage with sports and cultural activities.
Rua da Felicidade, Wynn’s revitalization project since 2023, was transformed into a sports-themed street event, featuring interactive basketball challenges and community performances.
The Rua da Felicidade Pedestrian Zone revitalization project aims to support the district by coordinating its activities with major city events.
During festivals, holidays, and large-scale sporting or cultural events, Wynn has organized decorations, art installations, cultural markets, and community activities aligned with these events.
This time, at the zone, visitors could take part in activities such as the “Vertical Jump Challenge” and “Shooting Challenge.”
The events coincided with the conclusion of the 15th National Games’ three-on-three basketball tournaments in the city, which took place over four days, concluding on Saturday.
The South Lawn at Wynn Palace was filled with spectators, including basketball stars such as Shandong women’s U18 standout Zhang Ziyu and WCBA veteran Elizabeth Cambage from Sichuan.
Teams from across China showcased teamwork and skill, with Shanghai winning the men’s championship and Shandong securing the women’s title. Hubei earned the men’s bronze, while Sichuan took the women’s bronze based on higher average scores.
Wynn also partnered with the Macau Special Olympics and the FIBA team to host a 3×3 Basketball Experience Day at Wynn Palace.
The event brought together athletes and Wynn volunteers to practice teamwork and inclusion while preparing for major competitions, including the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th Special Olympics in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macau region.
