The government has approved the management and maintenance fees for the new Common Utility Tunnels in New Urban Zone A, marking a key step in the infrastructure project’s path toward its 2026 launch. The tunnels are designed to consolidate electricity, water, telecommunications, security, and traffic cables into a single underground network, aiming to reduce road excavations and improve urban management. According to Executive Order No. 52/2026, published in accordance with the relevant concession contract, the government has set the first-year management and maintenance fees, apportionment ratios, and access application charges, which take effect tomorrow.
