New Zealand gelding Pearl Lucky (pictured) by Red Giant out from Crystal Hill should follow through his upward racing curve come this Sunday. Trainer K. H. LEONG and owner Mr. CHAN has good solid winners in the past few meetings, latest being last Sunday Pearl Green won The Barnet turf race. The winning team has another winning hopeful in Pearl Lucky this Sunday. Pearl Lucky’s last two run were full of merits, his run 19 July was unlucky and raced without cover most of the trip – entering the home straight he was bumped by Chromium Alloy and that caused him the race. His 24 July sand race which saw him again raced wide, but at the concluding stages he picked the bid up and fight on strongly with Eclair Mirage, there he was defeated only by a very thin margin at the tight photo finish. There is no Eclair Mirage this time, Jockey K. H. Yu with a good draw barrier in gate 3 and carrying 125. Pearl Lucky should find this race very handy. Davy Chiu
