Since its launch in May, the Oxfam Rice Event 2025 in Macau has united over 800 volunteers to support smallholder farmers facing climate challenges.

Under the theme “Fight Climate Change, Empower Smallholder Farmers,” the campaign held 37 rice booths and community roadshows, raising more than MOP635,000.

Now in its 14th year, the event saw participation from local banks, schools, government departments, and community groups, demonstrating Macau’s strong commitment to climate justice.

Oxfam continues to assist farmers in Asia and East Africa by promoting sustainable farming practices to increase resilience. This year’s campaign featured limited-edition rice packs adorned with beloved Mr. Men Little Miss characters.
